The genesis of the MCC Netball Section was the formation of teams to play against the visiting Hong Kong Cricket Club Netball Section in 2011.
An immediate success, the idea of MCC teams playing in formal competition quickly developed and started with three team competing in the Parkville Netball Competition. In 2014 MCC Netball became an incorporated association and a formal sporting section under the MCC banner.
MCC Netball has competed in three international multi-sport tours in 2014 (Hong Kong), 2016 (Singapore) and 2019 (Hong Kong) against the Hong Kong Cricket Club and Singapore Cricket Club.
The club currently has five teams, three in premier division and two in A-grade.
STRATEGIC PLAN
In 2018 reviewed the club direction and developed a Strategic Plan with the view of providing a enjoyable, healthy and vibrant netball club through our core values Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Participation, Performance and Fun.
